1. Summary of What This App Processes
Mochi (모찌:합성 대작전) is a soft mochi-merging physics puzzle game operated by Synub Inc.
The game has no login or account. Game data such as best score, settings, and items is stored only on your device. Information leaves the device in only two cases — (1) the anonymous identifier, nickname, and score sent when you join the weekly ranking, and (2) the advertising identifier used to serve ads.
The Synub Privacy Policy applies to every service Synub operates, so it lists many items such as email address and inquiry content. Mochi collects almost none of them. This notice describes what this specific app actually does.
2. There Is No Account
Mochi requires no login. No account is created, and no email address, name, phone number, contacts, photos, or files are collected.
The identifier used to distinguish players is a value randomly generated on your device (a UUID) the first time you launch the app. It is an anonymous identifier that is not linked to your name, email, phone number, or other identity, and it disappears from the device when the app is uninstalled.
3. What Is Stored on Your Device
The following is stored only on your device.
- Game records such as best score, total merges, and highest stage reached - Item counts and revive tickets - Settings such as sound and haptics - Your advertising consent choice - The player identifier (UUID) and the nickname you chose
4. What Is Sent to the Server for the Weekly Ranking
Mochi has a weekly ranking where you compete on score with other players. When you join the ranking, the following is sent to Synub's ranking server.
- Anonymous player identifier: the random value (UUID) generated on your device is sent, and the server stores a hash of it. It is not linked to any login, account, or email. - Nickname: a display name you choose yourself (up to 20 characters). It is shown in the ranking list. We recommend not putting personal information such as your real name or contact details in the nickname. - Score: your game score, used to compile the weekly ranking. - Hash of your IP address: to prevent abuse, the server stores a hash of the connecting IP address. The original IP address is not stored.
The ranking is compiled anew each week. Joining the ranking is not required to play, and it works regardless of your advertising consent.
5. What Is Sent for Advertising
The game is free and is funded by advertising. To serve ads, the following is sent to the advertising provider (Google LLC).
- Advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID (AAID), iOS Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA)) - Device information (model, operating system, language) - Approximate location (country or region level) - Ad interaction records such as impressions and clicks
This constitutes a cross-border transfer under Article 28-8(1)1 of the Personal Information Protection Act, so separate consent is obtained on first launch. See the notice "Consent Notice for Advertising-Related Processing and Cross-Border Transfer" for details.
You can play the game without consenting. In that case, non-personalized ads are served. The weekly ranking works regardless of advertising consent, so declining imposes no restriction.
6. Deleting Your Data
Provided by: Synub Inc. · Mochi (모찌:합성 대작전)
Game data stored on your device is deleted entirely when you uninstall the app. There is no separate request process or waiting period.
- Android: long-press Mochi on the home screen or in Settings > Apps and uninstall - iOS: long-press the app icon on the home screen and delete
To reset your game records without uninstalling, clear the app's data in your device settings (Android: Settings > Apps > Mochi > Storage > Clear data).
The nickname, score, and anonymous identifier sent to the ranking server do not live on your device, so uninstalling the app does not automatically remove them from the server. If you want them deleted, contact the privacy officer (haru@synub.io, sky@synub.io) with the nickname you use and request deletion. We delete the corresponding nickname, score, and identifier from the server as soon as we verify the request.
The advertising identifier is a device value, not game data. You can reset or delete it at any time in your device settings.
- Android: Settings > Google > Ads > "Reset advertising ID" or "Delete advertising ID" - iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking > turn off "Allow Apps to Request to Track"
7. Retention Period
- Game data stored on your device: kept on the device until you uninstall the app. - Nickname, score, anonymous identifier, and IP hash on the ranking server: kept to operate the ranking until you request deletion or Synub discontinues the service. On a deletion request, they are destroyed without delay.
8. Withdrawing Advertising Consent
You can turn off advertising consent in the app's settings screen. Personalized ads stop from that moment and non-personalized ads are served instead.
You may also submit a request through the Synub Privacy Request Center or to the privacy officer (haru@synub.io, sky@synub.io).
9. Trademark and Copyright Notice
All mochi characters and graphics that appear in Mochi are original designs and do not use any real trademark or third-party logo.
10. Contact
